Way too tough to say even before spring ball.

1) Is Morris actually going to be here in the summer? If not, who the hell is our QB? If he does make it, is he anywhere near what Rogers was last year?

2) We have minimal depth on the DL and a questionable LB corps. Only way to go is up, but if it's not a pretty substantial jump, we're still gonna be losing tight games.

3) What do our post spring transfers out/in look like?

4) Do the new coaches (particularly Odom and Leftwich) make a big difference?

There are way too many unknowns on a team with 50 new guys on it.

Congrats, you win the award for way too early predictions for 2024.  We lost virtually our entire 2 deep on offense.  It's going to be a complete unknown on that side of the ball.

Good luck and I hope the good guys play at least SOME defense this year.

The nonconference schedule could go really bad or really good, but on paper it's tougher than last year's. However our home schedule got easier when SMU leaving shifted things. With just a competent defense, and assuming we hold on to at least either Morris or the Liberty QB, I think we're easily going bowling.

I would probably switch the Army loss with the UTSA win. Also USA could have a solid team returning but with the coaching change the players could have bailed.

In these days of the NIL and transfer portal, it is difficult to make any predictions.  Everyone is subject to a massive roster turnover.

I'm thinking because of NIL and "The Portal" for many G5"s it might be a couple of games into the season before you see where a team is headed.
