This is on Roger's he lost 2 fumbles after pivotal D stops. He also did not put it in on the first drive. Blame coaches but star QB can not hold onto the ball and take 3 sacks, killing a drive and 2 fumbles

Problem with that analysis is that NT would not have been close without Rogers.

NT lost this game because NT's 300+ line could not block the much smaller midshipmen.

Rogers did not handle the blitz well. Navy was telegraphing the blitz and Rogers never seemed to recognize it and hit a hot route.

I don’t think we have ever practiced how to handle the blitz. I don’t even believe we have designated plays to counter it. Just do what you can guys, we’ll be fine.

Agree that he does take some of the blame, sometimes the best play is to just throw it away and not take the loss. The other part of it is what did the coaches do to either pick up the pressure or get the ball out of his hands quicker? It's hard to tell since I couldn't see the field, but I was frustrated with what looked like too many long passes that took time to develop, vs. short quick strikes to get the ball out faster.

There is just about zero silver lining to this game against a 1-3 opponent.

Maybe Roger's arm? The rest is just the worst.

We are a two win team, with one of those wins being against an FCS program that we should have blown out. We just gave a one dimensional one win team, their second win.

Fk this.

Not sure why this got a down vote. It is true.

I am not so sure. There were several times we beat the blitz with a run, Rogers first down by running, or a quick throw. It is just magnified on the times this doesn't happen. It was a good defensive call against a bad offensive call on the fumble recovery near our red zone.

QBs getting blindsided is part of the game and even the best QBs fumble in those situations. That isn't on Rogers IMO.

The game was lost when Morris did not have an under center formation at the one foot line near the beginning of the game, what should have been an easy td turned into a comedy of errors.

Plus, kick the field goal in the 1st quarter on 4th and 3.

You know full well that was intentional to get extra space on the punt to try to pin us inside the ten….

They could have gotten extra space with a delay of game. They didn't need to look foolish by having two players in motion trying to sack their running back pre-snap.

We're paying way too much damn money for on the job training. This is just magnified by the fact that his offensive or defensive coordinators either have any experience at the position. Looking back at it now it almost seems that he does not have enough confidence in himself to surround himself with more experience coaches.

With each week that goes by I really wonder how he sold himself to Jared. Either he did a really good job or Jared didn't know what he was looking for.

I'm also tired of being the training ground for new coaches.

I have seen more coaches going for it on 4th down this year than ever before.  Why?  And several from their own side of the 50, even early in games.  Does nobody trust their kicker or defense?

Welcome to the 2020s, where 40 and 50 year olds grew up playing video games.
