Questions for Rick V tonight?

What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Since we're pretty sure of RV's favorite color, it would be best to ask... What is your quest?

Edit: That's actually not a bad question - We have Apogee, we're now in CUSA - what is our next quest? The easy answer is Baseball, but what else?

Once upon a time a farmer went to market and purchased a fox, a goose, and a bag of beans. On his way home, the farmer came to the bank of a river and rented a boat. But in crossing the river by boat, the farmer could carry only himself and a single one of his purchases - the fox, the goose, or the bag of the beans.
If left together, the fox would eat the goose, or the goose would eat the beans.
The farmer's challenge was to carry himself and his purchases to the far bank of the river, leaving each purchase intact. How did he do it?

Ask him this Harry.

What are the sales projections for beer sales at Apogee this year?

What percentage of sales will actually make it into the athletic department coffers?

Are the dollars from beer/wine sales earmarked for specific use within the department or will they simply go into a general fund?

And finally, if all goes well with sales at Apogee will sales be expanded to other athletic venues/sports at NT?

What programs are you currently in negotiations with for a future home-and-home?

Is there a legitimate plan in place to market our football program/university for the 2014 season? If so, what?

Is there a legitimate plan in place to get more North Texas merchandise on shelves? If so, what?

I know we just changed conferences, but are you pushing for another conference change for the future? AAC, MWC, possibly big12 (for when the big12 inevitably expands)?

Post/pre baseball start up, is there a plan in place for an indoor practice facility?

Is the marketing/ticket office department making a true conscious effort to reach out to our alums?

In your best opinion, why can't we sellout Apogee? As AD, fix whatever your opinion is.

Can we ever make the pedestrian bridge a UNT or UNT football marketing strategy? Green lights, football poster/electronic sign that stretches at least 25% of bridge, etc.?

Odds of hearing this, or some version of it, from RV when asked about the upcoming basketball season:

"We expect to be competitive in CUSA this season and need to show improvement, but if we aren't and don't, I just want something made clear right now: it's the players fault and there are several cancers in the locker room."

50/50?

Will home games be made available to subscribers to MGS this year? This was very annoying last season and I know it caused several people to cancel their accounts.

No, because we have a real TV deal. Only exception may be the Sinclair games especially if they can't find a DFW affiliate. If it's on a Fox network or CBS Sports, then no way. That's a result of the deal the conference signed with the networks, no point in asking RV, he has no control over it.

You take the fox across, then go back for the goose and take him across, then you bring the fox back and grab the beans, then you take the beans across and grab the goose and bring him back, then you take the fox and go back for the goose and bring him across.

I'm sure they'll have to go through a bid process, but with Ben E Keith's past sponsorships I see Bud products in The future.

Metzler's is actually handling it. RV said they would have 6-7 flavors all in the tin cans (no draft)...
