Treed Area Near New Stadium

I was talking with some fans yesterday at the first Coach's show. It was brought up that there might be a contest coming to name the treed area near the new stadium. Ole Miss has the "grove". SMU has the "Boulevard". The Dallas Cowboys have SIx Flags.

What should our new tailgating area be named ? And is it really a tailgate area if cars are not allowed to drive up to it ? More of a picnic area.

How about AVIARY ?

The green has a hint of class. If it's going to be the nest, then it needs to be "The Eagles Nest"

It should be the "Aerie" - the nest of a bird of prey, as an eagle or a hawk. (per Dictionary.com)

It would also play on UNT History since this name was also used by the yearbook for many years.

This is what I was going to post until I saw this. I couldn't say it better or agree more. Me too!!

Green sounds nice until TWU chases all their millions of black birds to "OUR" new stadium's treed area and then it will become what we used to call Gator-ade in its earliest days.......green.......uh, sheeee'it! "Ethel! watch where you're stepping, dearest!"

GMG!
