North Texas vs La Tech (9/16/2023) Score Predictions

Going to Ruston, limping badly.    We're a rudderless ship on defense.    LATech held that potent FIU offense to 17pts just 2 weeks ago.

It needs to be stated:     Less than a year ago, NT beat LATech 47-27, in what was deemed a failure of a season.

Based on observations from the first 2 games, I see the score flipped this year.   NT:27 - LATech:47,

Then, we're headed to a showdown with ACU for what is appearing to be our only shot at a win this season... let that sink in.

I'd love to be wrong (but in a good way, not in a bad way like Saturday).

I will be brave/stupid/naive/Scrappy goggled/green Kool-Aid intoxicated

UNT 38
LA Tech 34

Rogers will start and the UNT offense will go back to being run-driven, with Earle coming in as a change of pace running option. Defense will give up some big plays and long but quick scoring drives, but also continue to force turnovers with 2 takeaways.

This will be a long and frustrating game. Smoke Harris will have 200+ yards, but in the end we will prevail.

my  four win season I predicted is endanger of meeting expectations.  Do we have a 90 day probation period for new employees? Morris better wise up and do something about the DC coordinator because his job depends on it.

I predicted 4-8 at the beginning of the season and I would gladly take that RIGHT NOW if we could do that. I'm praying we get to 2 wins at this point.
