Les Miles on his way out at LSU?

After a three-game losing streak, the boosters look to pony up $15 million to buy him out and send him packing.

So LSU doesn't tolerate a 3-game losing streak.  They put up the necessary money for a buy-out without so much as a sneeze.

I'm beginning to think that maybe LSU is passing us by.

Also, there's another head coaching opening that'll slim our pickens even more, amIright?

It won't affect our pickins' at all. The kind of coach LSU would hire wouldn't even consider UNT. Les is headed to a P5. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at either USC. I would also not be surprised to see him at UT if Charlie Strong leaves. It could even be two ships passing in the night with Strong to LSU and Miles to UT.

The guy has won 78% of all the games (110-32) that he's played and they are firing him?! This may be a coaching fire a UNT... or better yet a G5 fan will never be able to understand....
He's going to either of these teams
USC
Maybe Texas?
Miami
Minnesota
South Carolina or Missouri

he won't screw up our coaching search at all.

screw LSU, they are willing to burn their program just because Miles does not win a National Title every year.

Also they currently have #1 recruiting class, Miles goes, so goes their recruits

not necessarily regarding the recruits. if they bring in someone else they can convince them to keep there commitment. its happened plenty of times.

It would be idiotic for them to fire Miles, but Louisiana is ranked 49th* in IQ....

*Mississippi, it's Mississippi who is ranked 50th.  A rule of thumb for statisticians is that if the states are ever ranked first to last in something beneficial, Mississippi is dead last.  It's almost a law of nature at this point.
