Bowl Uniforms?

If it is possible it would be great to give the players and older fans something special when we take the field on Dec 27th. Let's bring back greatness. Let Hayden Fry watch the Mean Green win one more in these iconic uniforms, in front of a national audience.

That's not our marketing emblem anymore and hasnt been for a long time. Why throw that out and confuse the entire TV audience on who they are watching.

I don't care one way or another, but throw back uniforms happen all the time, and would not be a branding mistake.

While I do understand the marketing argument, I did enjoy the throwback uniforms we wore against Idaho back in 2013. And this is coming from a recent graduate, not an "old timer". ;)

I could not care less about the Hayden Fry angle, but since we're the Mean Green, a major part of our uniform should be green.  Many that watch this game will be "first time" Mean Green watchers.

I get that, but we are on the national stage (ESPN) and the first game of the day. Let's make a statement with who we are now and save the worm for homecoming games.

That's not a SOW, that's a generic wing that every high school and college uses if they have any type of bird mascot.

I'm really surprised at the lack of worm love.  I agree this bowl game is probably not the occasion to bust them out but I figured there'd be more FW vibes.
