FAU writer claims UNT Kidnapped Tony Mitchell

FAU is in CBSsports.com's backyard — their main office is a 15-minute, luxury-lined car ride away from Boca Raton.

So you would think that CBSsports would have a better grip on FAU men's basketball. After all, it's their hometown team.

That doesn't seem to be the case.

The general consensus of punditry has decided that FAU is the darkhorse to win the Sun Belt. North Texas is the odds on favorite, mainly because of their kidnapped Mizzou Tiger (No, I will not let it go...) Tony Mitchell; Middle Tennessee, who is returning 10 players from last year's 27-7 team is poised to take the regular-season title again; and FAU has a chance to put it all together after last year's disappointing finish.

Since he never enrolled, he's no more of a Missouri Tiger than I am. After this season, hopefully these jerks will no longer have to make excuses as to why great players come to Denton.

Come to find out their "beat writer" Dieter Kurtenbach is just 24 years old. The guy is a raving idiot and he states that FAU had a disappointing finish last year and worded it like they were slated to be better.

HEY DIETER....... of course FAU is behind South Alabama, MT and WKU! What "pundits" do you speak of that believe that FAU might win the SBC? Was it a Bleacher Report you wrote under a pseudonym?

As far as Tony Mitchell is concerned he wasn't kidnapped..... if you wanted to pay out of state tuition to Mizzou then go ahead but he didn't care to.

This is why kids shouldn't be the beat writer for a University. He is on par (at best) with the NT Daily writers.

I believe most of the NT Dailey staff writers can and do write circles around Dieter.

They were a really big disappointment last season. Most people thought they were gonna win the East because they had easily done so the year before & returned most of that team.

Intentional joke?

Not at all. Not everyone that appears in The NT Daily is a staff writer. The Daily produces some of the best and most talented people in the profession.

Kinda concerning?

I agree, it is concerning that an alum doesn't believe in the talent that his university turns out. Also CG you and Quoner need to have a cage fight over the avatar of Bobby Flay. Loser gets it.

I think they were referring to your misspelling of Daily.

Also, not Bobby Flay in the avatars, but whatever.
