Honestly kinda surprised to be an underdog at home. It’s a toss up game to me so I thought we would get the points at home.

Will be interesting to see how that line moves. But I am not too surprised. Time to show the public that they need to change their perception of NT for good.

I expected it to be more like 7 points.   Don’t be misled by their 1-3 record, their losses were at OU, at Washington State and at Tulane.   All very good teams on the road In a very short time span, 2 of the games were just by a TD.   I doubt we would have played all those teams as close as Houston did on the road.    

Houston  is a team we don’t match up very well with - a good QB.  We do not fare well against teams with strong QBs.  We don’t tend to lose those games, we tend to get blown out.   If we can’t run the ball very effectively and eat clock, this is not going to be a close game.

if the defense comes out hot like they did against nUTSAck, should be a very competitive game, if it they come out cold like SMU/CAL will be a long night.

Tunrovers were huge and was the first time this year the defense created them. 

UH should be favored but looking better for UNT

Reading the line today (M), it appears the line has shifted to favor NT by 1 1/2 pts.

Just win by 1  point.

I watched the Tulane game. Their QB only completed like 40% of his passes.  They just ran all over their D for most of the game.  Get Siggers, Torrey, and Easly going early and often.  That combined with some play action should shake some receivers free for Mason to carve them up.

Watching the Tulane-Houston game highlights, I thought the H defense was really slow.  I'm thinking we may have more team speed that H.

They also could not tackle to save their life. That end play really showed

I think the running game is the way to go.  It will open up our passing, but just look at their games this year and their bowl blowout loss to Army.
