This is what I recall too, from Ross's introductory press conference.

Which stinks. Need to start including a mandatory home game with the buyout clauses.

After living in Lubbock for a couple of months he might hate to come back to Denton. He might think to himself what was I thinking.

I think Mac's policy is not to schedule games with schools where he previously coached. For example, we never played Arkansas State.

He left our program better then when he first joined it, cant fault him for that. 

anyway... hows UNT's OOC schedule looking?

I don't understand these types of threads at all. Mac is not "ducking us". Hodge made it perfectly clear in the press conference that Mac doesn't want to play against people he has coached with. It's the same reason we never played Baylor while he was here or K State last season once they got Tang. Stop trying to make this out for more than it is.

Its been over 20 years since we played either of those teams in the regular season. I'm pretty sure Mac and his ex coaches had very little to do with it.

Hodge stated in his press conference that Mac doesn’t want to play against coaches he coached with. I was just using some examples.

Lubbock has so much more to offer than Denton! Incredible amenities such as:

Dust, cotton, the pungent smell of cow manure with a decent southbound wind, a constant southbound wind, STD's so unidentifiable they're only colloquially known as "Raider Rash", and more dust.

Hard to see why he'd wanna be back in Denton with such life enriching features.

I lived out there a little while back in the day.  I remember they had a saying "When it's pretty no one wants to leave.  When it's not, you can't."

I have no doubt that Mac will get Tech there soon.  He came to UNT and ... well the rest is history.

Stacked means opportunity in the committee's eyes. A 7-11 conference record with 3 wins against some combination of Kansas, Kansas State, Houston, TCU, Iowa State, and Baylor likely gets them in.
