I'm going to have a commemorative ticket collage made for myself and friend, and wanted to share our concept/get feedback from you all.

Basically, it's going to look like this:

With this picture:

I was thinking Green/Black suede matting, with the game score, date and location.

All thoughts, comments and feedback are welcome.

I'm not sure where you can buy the picture.

I found one large enough for what I'm doing (5x7) here:

The AP has a large selection of photos from the game, but that's a whole other ball game of licensing the photo as I don't believe they sell individual prints:

After each of UNT's 4 bowl games last decade the UNT Athletic Dept. hired a professional media group to do a DVD on each of those 4 bowl year's respective seasons highlights with the entire bowl game as part of those DVD's. I expect they will do the same for this season and this bowl game, too.

I've reached out to DRC photographer David Minton via twitter inquiring about how to go about purchasing one of his photos.

Haven't heard back yet, but will post if/when I do.

David posts on here. Quite a bit actually. If you support him you are supporting a true Mean Green fan... and someone who I may or may not have snuck into bars during the first NO Bowl trip.

Here is the collage. Specs for those that want one: used satin black frame with a double mat of Lawn green (C9896) and Ivory black (B8517). My wife designed the lower right image and I used the pic at the beginning of the thread. They floated the ticket on the lower mat so it wouldn't cut off any of the info.

      UNT students join growing number of pro-Palestinian demonstrations at US colleges

      Students at the University of North Texas walked out of class Tuesday to take part in a pro-Palestinian demonstration. The protest was one of many happening at colleges and universities across the country where students asked the institutions to disclose their assets and divest from any ties to Israel or weapons manufacturers. In Denton, a few hundred students walked out of class and met on the lawn outside the University Library. The local chapter of the Palestine Solidarity Committee planned the event. "We stand here in solidarity with students at Columbia, students at Yale, students at UT Dallas, students at UT Austin. Students at college campuses all across the nation and really in the world," said Talia Irsh, with the Palestine Solidarity Committee. Irsh, a junior, helped coordinate the event which included a protest walk around the administration building and a loop around part of the campus. “Faculty and staff canceled class and moved around meetings in order to be here today," Irsh said.       I think we have put the extra covid year mess behind us, so some of this may settle down. I'm curious if people feel differently about players who came here out of high school and ultimately transfer vs. those who transferred in and then transfer out. If they transfer in with multiple years of eligibility left or have already transferred multiple times, we shouldn't be surprised if they are only here for a year. I'm in the camp of once a member of the Mean Green family, always a member of the Mean Green family, but in the fluid state we are in now (and apparently going to be in for the foreseeable future), I do think we need to set some HOF guidelines to account for this. The family metaphor is used a lot in sports and I even used it here. As fans I think we get more invested in those student-athletes that start their college careers here and we enjoy watching them grow and develop as athletes and men and women. We're happy for them when they are ready to "leave the nest" and move on with their lives. If they are fortunate to make it as professional athletes, that's just icing on the cake. However, if they leave our nest just to go to another family's nest, I think that is probably what affects fans the most, especially for programs like ours where we struggle to elevate our brand on the national stage.
