  1. Stone 17 of 22 for a little over 200 yards and 1 Td pass. Cash 150 yards and 2 TD passes. 1 int. Vito did not list Reese stats, but only completed 3 or 4 passes and also had 1 int. Cash and Reese switched out at QB for the green team. Stone was only QB for the white team. Stone led 1 TD drive and 2 field goal drives. Cash led 2 TD drives and 1 field goal drive. Reese no scoring drives. (From Brett Vito) o line looked solid. It was a hodgepodge at running back because most of them are injured. Receivers did a good job of catching the balls. Defense played fast and aggressive. Should be much improved.
  2. The two TD passes by Cash and the Green Team were into the wind. Stone’s TD pass was into the wind also.
  3. He looked real good. With some RB's out he got a lot of reps. Very shifty and quick. Had a couple of big runs.
  4. Defense was ok. Not great, but not bad. Showed flashes of stopping the run. Secondary was aggressive in the run game. D-Line and linebackers need to get more involved. More pass rush also. But didn't give up any big plays. Offense 1st team looked good. Scored almost every possession. Running backs a little banged up so didn't see them all. Stone was with 1st team QB. Looked accurate. Ran the offense well. Good timing with receivers. Cash was 2nd team QB. Looked solid. Good arm, but a little late on a couple of throws. Ran the ball well when he had to scramble. Reese was 3rd QB. Didn't do much. Missed some receivers and completed a couple of short passes. Overall a good scrimmage. Looked better than this time last year. O-Line will be solid. Kicker made a 51 yarder during live scrimmage. So that's good. Saw Chandler Morris there watching. Not very big. Smaller than Stone. Will be interesting to see how things play out this summer.
  5. What makes you think Chandler not coming? Right now Stone is getting most of the 1st team reps. Cash is getting most 2nd team reps and some 1st team. Reese is mainly 3rd team reps right now.
  6. I'm pretty sure they have been practicing. Just with no pads. Running plays and 7on7.
  7. Word from some of the players is that Cash is the man ahead of Reese. And will be pushing Stone for the starting job right now.
  8. When he committed to North Texas didn't he change his Twitter profile to say North Texas quarterback? And I just looked at his Twitter and it no longer says that. It went back to tcu.
  9. I don't think Gebbia is there anymore.
  10. I could see kids doing this with NIL deals now a big thing. The more you put yourself out there the more attention you draw.

  12. North Texas has 2 commits nominated for Dave Campbell's Texas Football Player of the Week. WR Miles Coleman from Vandegrift and QB Cash McCollum from China Spring. You can see it here. Texasfootball.com
