  1. Great minds. We're looking pretty good a little into the 4th quarter.
  2. Jaelon was waived/released yesterday. Hopefully he can land on another team.
  3. Tomorrow is a big day for him. https://heavy.com/sports/cleveland-browns/austin-watkins-trade-jaelon-darden-grant/amp/
  4. Was fearful of this after the injury occurred on a non-contact play, but thought (and hoped) it was a lesser injury after reading the ‘all good’ comments back in Dec. Talk about a guy who left it all the field for UNT. We should be celebrating his incredible career, not tearing down his decision to be with his team and play in the bowl game as his final action at UNT.
  5. Darden was waived by TB early in Dec and claimed by the Browns the next day. https://www.si.com/nfl/buccaneers/news/jaelon-darden-sends-cryptic-message-on-his-way-out-of-tampa
  6. Same here! Last Sat was cold enough and it’s nothing compared to tonight.
  7. Glad to see he was picked up quickly.
  8. Bucs Waive Jaelon Darden The Buccaneers opened a spot on their 53-man roster on Tuesday by waiving second-year wide receiver Jaelon Darden…In addition, T Dylan Cook and CB Ryan Smith were released from the practice squad Dec 06, 2022 at 04:30 PM Scott Smith Senior Writer/Editor On Tuesday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers waived second-year wide receiver Jaelon Darden and released rookie tackle Dylan Cook and veteran cornerback Ryan Smith from the practice squad. There were no corresponding additions so the Buccaneers will head into Week 14 with one open spot on the active roster and two on the practice squad. A fourth-round draft pick out of North Texas in 2021, Darden has been the team's primary punt returner for the majority of the past two seasons. He has averaged 9.4 yards on 50 punt returns, including a 10.6-yard average on 30 returns this season. Darden also recently took over kickoff return duties with the team choosing to let rookie running back Rachaad White focus on his growing role on offense. In two seasons, Darden has averaged 20.3 yards on 21 kickoff returns. The Bucs' active roster still features six wide receivers, and 2022 free agency addition Russell Gage returned to action this past Monday after missing four games with a hamstring injury. Through the first 12 games, Darden had only logged 57 snaps on offense, resulting in two catches for 26 yards. —- Article from the Bucs website. Curious why they’d cut him with no immediate signing to fill the spot. Wonder if he ran afoul of Bowles somehow. I do think he’ll get another shot somewhere.
  9. Heard the announcers say that 5 of his 11 INTs this season have been returned for a TD. Yikes.
  10. Anybody have an extra GA ticket they don’t need? @bebobobo
  11. Glad my Titans shut him down yesterday. 15-35 rushing is not good.
  12. Not sure the Cowboys would trade for him, but looking over the depth charts I could see these teams taking a chance on trading for Wilson. Arizona - lots of injuries. Could use a consistent runner to help Kyler out. Atlanta - Patterson and Allgeier split, and Wilson would be an upgrade. Denver - with Williams on IR and Gordon III and Latavius Murray splitting carries, they could use a RB boost. Houston - Pierce could definitely use some help even though he’s 6th in the league in rushing. NY Jets - would have included them for sure until they traded for James Robinson 6 days ago. Didn’t include Carolina because I’d imagine they would have asked for Wilson if they weren’t rebuilding.
