I love the fact that 4 of the first 5 games are effectively home games for us. Has that ever happened before?

Of the 7 pieces of Mean Green gear I have in my office at work, the autographed, throwback Joe Greene jersey is my favorite. Although, the game used helmet from the 2014 HoD Bowl and the autographed, game used Dunbar jersey are close seconds.

I went yesterday and was easily able to get a Dunbar autograph and a Cal Ripken photo op. I got there at about 12:15 though. I went to UNT surplus on Tuesday and they had one number 5 jersey left so I got Lance to sign that. Fun event overall, but if you are not a hardcore Ticket P1 or a big autograph person it is probably not for you. I am very happy with the autographed jersey myself.

Does anyone know where to buy a Joe Greene throwback jersey? I found the ones in the links below, but I don't want to wear a moomoo to the football games, so I was hoping someone had another source. My other questions is, why doesn't the athletic department sell a throwback jersey of the greatest player in school history and one of the greatest players in the history of the sport? Picked up a #11 helmet today. Really awesome looking. I highly recommend buying one if you can afford it. The guy at the ticket office told me that the "premium numbers", i.e. 3, 7, 35, 93, etc., were all gone. I asked him and he said to contact Eric Capper about the throwback helmets. He said the throwback helmets were in storage and Eric had a list of the numbers that were left and could tell me how much they cost. I called him and left him a message this afternoon. Here is the collage. Specs for those that want one: used satin black frame with a double mat of Lawn green (C9896) and Ivory black (B8517). My wife designed the lower right image and I used the pic at the beginning of the thread. They floated the ticket on the lower mat so it wouldn't cut off any of the info.

I thought this was a great idea and ordered one from Michael's today. It was $98. I will post a picture of it when it comes in. Should get it by the 31st.

By that logic, the Lakers should not have fired Mike Brown, Andy Reid should keep his job, and Bobby V should not have been fired. Obviously those teams are just not as talented as people thought. Right? Nothing to do with coaching. Right? Sorry, but that just doesn't make sense. Coaches ruin very talented teams in almost every sport, every season. And now we are seeing it with this team. Awful.

That was me and a buddy of mine. We are in those seats every game and are more than willing to take it to the refs if need be. I feel like if more people would stop sitting on their hands and actually cheer/heckle/boo/make any kind of noise, we might actually have a home court advantage. I hate paying for season tickets and seeing tons of horrible calls in our gym. We can do something about that, but it will require more people to actually care. Perhaps that is a discussion for another thread. Of course, it could just be the hip-hop in me talking.

I just called the ticket office and they said no outside food or drink. Concessions only. Just to let you know.

I just saw the latest EA Sports commercial that starts with regular people playing with Oscar De La Hoya, Steve Nash, and the Florida Gators. The commercial then shows multiple clips from NCAA 10 starting with Texas/OU. The next clip is number 22 from WKU getting tackled by number 13 from UNT at a packed Fouts Field. There are then clips featuring Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, OK State, and Baylor. Pretty cool to see UNT in an HD video game commercial!
