  1. Launching targeted display ads on google by email address. Superb excited for these. Literally only people logged into the email addresses I'm targeting will be targeted with Fire Rick V banner ads. Love technology.
  2. Latest results from FB ads campaign: 1,000 people reached, 50 clicks to the Rick V thread on this board, total cost of $14.24. I'll post a screenshot later.
  3. I've called, emailed and am running a paid facebook ads campaign. I'd love to do the same for twitter, but I don't think our President actually goes on twitter, I suspect his social team does, while demographically his segment is one of the largest and heaviest users of Facebook. I'd be into running some ads on LinkedIn and if Google opens it up in time, running some display ads targeting the president's email addresses as well. Any graphic designer want to donate 6-8 banner ads if I send you the file specs and what I had in mind? I also need is a list of email addresses and names for the BoR so I can start targeting those members as well. Any takers? Post Edit: I left a Voicemail Sunday afternoon and a member of the media relations team called me back to let me know that my voicemail was forwarded on to the President. All I can reasonably ask for I suppose.
  4. Are good old fashion Poster out of the question? Is there a stadium rule permitting them?
  5. So I get tired of rhetoric without action, and being that I'm in digital marketing and spend all day targeting people in unique ways, I created a Facebook Ads campaign, targeting people working at the University of North Texas who make in excess of $200,000 per year, and only when they're within one mile of campus. A screen shot of my ad is below. My targeting has honed into an audience of less than 1,000 people. I've set to target them as many times per day as I can and will pay for each time my ad is viewed. My point will be made. I will spend less than $15 to bombard these people with my message and direct them to this thread. It's time for a new AD. And I'm totally serious. Just got the email that my ad has been approved and is live.
  6. Mason Y'Barbo, Reggie Pegram, Derek Akunne & Zed Evans. Those are my initial hopes. Up to every senior class to set the tone for what they expect. First place I'll look to.
  7. Check Rick Yeatts (sp?) site, you could also use the team shot in front of the Cotton Bowl entrance.
  8. Great idea. I'd be interested to know where you get it done at. I have an untorn ticket saved from the game specifically for this purpose.
  9. 38,000+. Nearly she'd a tear listening to the NORTH TEXAS call and response echo thru the cotton bowl. Magical experience, huge for the program, I think a sellout is possible considering we got SMU as our home opener! Why Not North Texas!
  10. Nice. Thanks! Going to watch him play next Friday.
  11. I poked around before I posted it. PS, twitter and facebook break more stories than ESPN, all day, everyday. See Deron Williams decision this summer.
  12. Let you guys judge for yourselves: This would be huge.
  13. It was thunderstruck last year. Still gives me chills. Don't fix what ain't broken.
  14. My tickets get renewed regardless of who's on the schedule. Have for nearly a decade now. 2012 - Our farewell tour of the Belt.... So much easier to swallow.
  15. Got to seperate the manufacturing from the distribution for liability reasons, I would assume of course. That my friends is the trap house. Keep it coming Emmitt, love it.
  16. Count me in. Ht: 6' Wt: 190 strong smell of whiskey Age: 32 Speed: Slower Shirt Size: L
  17. Chasing good money with bad. Love it!
  18. Trice is going to be big this year. He's worked hard in the weight room, and it shows, he's added about 10 lbs and increased his bench and squat pretty strong, and form the looks of it, without losing too much speed.
  19. Would love to see WKU pull this off.
  20. A Marshall team that beat Southern Miss twice, who's a #9 seed in the tourney. This would be a solid win for the conference, but I'd like to see MUTS make a deep run in the NIT.
  21. My crew will be there... Don't know that we'll go all out on tailgating, but bringing my dad out for his 1st UNT spring game.
  22. You guys had a QB in like 94 or 95 that ran the option, went on to Colorado I think, it was my sophomore year, and I remember standing on the sidelines and waching all the backside pursuit angles get blown away because our fastest guys totally misjudged his speed. WHile technically not a RB, he was one of the most elusive runners I've ever seen. Best RB I ever witnessed was Abilene Cooper's Dominic Rhodes in '96 Regional playoffs. He ran straight thru and over our starting linebackers all day long. 5 years later he started for the Colts in 2001.
