Hey guys! So, I've been reading this board for almost six years now and after creating an account several months ago, I've FINALLY made it a point to actually introduce myself and hopefully become a regularly contributing member. 

I moved to Denton from a small town in south Texas in the fall of 2010 to transfer to UNT as a music student, knowing virtually nothing about the city or the school itself other than its renowned College of Music and the town's bustling music scene. I began attending games during my first semester, which was the end of the Todd Dodge era and somehow, even through a 3-9 season, I fell in love with the program and found myself attending as many games as possible and wanting to know anything and everything about the Mean Green, which led me to frequent several sites such as this one.

I have since graduated in May of 2013 and have fallen in love with Denton overall as well. My girlfriend and I still live here, play in a few bands, and can be found regularly at many local spots and music shows around town. We are looking forward to attending the season opener this Saturday and I'm very excited to see what this team has in store with Seth Littrell and his staff leading the way! I'm not sure what to expect in terms of wins and losses this season, but I'm definitely hoping to see some major improvements after a dismal season last year.

Anyway, I just wanted to make a brief introduction and provide a little bit of information about myself before I start popping up on various threads.

Looking forward to many discussions with you guys!

Came to Edinburg from Indiana in 1963 to attend Pan American. Joined the National Guard in San Benito. Got married in Rio Hondo. After my first job in Dallas, came back to be a banker in McAllen in 1977. Eventually took a banking job back in Dallas in 1979 and have lived in this area ever since. So yeah, I consider myself a Valley-ite at heart. I didn't get to Los Fresnos but I know I went to school with some folks from there...them Falcons was a proud bunch!

I'm from Yorktown, a small town of around 2,000 people about 30 miles north west of Victoria. I usually just say I'm from Victoria since I went to junior college there, spent most of my time there, and since people might actually know where it is, ha.

If you are in Hen in the Cocks I graduated with the singer and use to jam with the drummer back in high school (I'm a bassist). Small world. I have heard y'alls stuff. Keep it up man.
