Really? He quit on OU? He didnt play last season. Sounds like OU quit on him. And noone is mad cause Vizza left NT, we're mad in the way he did it. He was our starting QB who left out of the blue in the twilight of recruiting. Please take off your Gio kneepads, or go down to College Station. He will have time for you since he lost his love for football.

Im glad to be picking up this kid. Sounds like a great find. Im looking forward to seeing him.

Easy there, Paul Blart. I think a few people are just having fun with the situation.

Oh, yeah, wow. Another wide receiver. Just what we need. You should always use a schollie on a WR instead of finding a DT, shouldn't you.

Can you name another "sure thing" receiver from our team last year that wasn't Casey Fitzgerald? (Yes, I know it means Dodge might have screwed the pooch on a bunch of the WR's he brought in) I can't either so I think we still need to grab a few of them.

I agree on getting more DTs.

On the other hand, we lost several WRs due to injury, defection, and graduation. It isn't like we don't need 10+ good WRs with this offense.

In 2008, 10 different receivers caught passes.

Wrong, 9 different receivers and one quarterback.

you are absolutely right. he wasn't a wr last year. :)

He'll always be a quarterback in my book. Or maybe a nickelback, with his size. :P

Don't jump down my throat. I'm only kidding!

Nice to see positive strides being made with this recruiting class. I'm starting to feel like an 80 year old man that just discovered Viagra.

Stinkston was the alligator arms king and definitely not an average receiver.. don't believe me? wikipedia the dude

Here is the only part I care about re: Pinkston's bio:

At The University of Southern Mississippi, he graduated as the school's second all-time leading receiver with 149 catches for 2,366 yards and 22 touchdowns, including 48 receptions for 977 yards and 11 TDs as a senior. Despite his success, Pinkston's selection in the second round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Eagles raised some eyebrows due to his slight build. At 6 feet 2 inches tall, Pinkston reportedly weighed only 167 pounds at the time of the draft.

Not earth-shattering, but I'd take it.
