Southern Mississippi (2/12/21)

These LONG offensive droughts are killing us. 5+ minutes.

We survived against La Tech because we built up such a huge early lead, and we might survive it tonight against this level of competition, but if we are still letting this happen in the conference tournament we’ll get knocked out.

We need to start hitting the 3 ball at a higher rate.

I watched the LATech UAB game and how Lofton Jr gets away with pushing people out of the paint.  He made UAB look bad but man he is pushing people around.

Once he gets more developed, he’ll be unstoppable. Except when he plays us😏

Mean Green Beat Southern Miss, 65-49

HATTIESBURG, MS — The North Texas men's basketball team beat Southern Miss 65-49 Friday night at the Reed Green Coliseum in Hattiesburg, Mississippi in the first of two weekend games at USM.

UNT (11-6, 7-2) opened each half on considerable runs and used its stifling defense to contain the Golden Eagles (7-13, 3-10).

Oh yeah he looks like it, but maybe a healthy fat? Lol

It could be…all depends on his dedication to off season work. His skills are deadly and if he develops his body he certainly reminds me of a young Charles Barkley type.
