You know, for Chico to do tonight what he has done with what remains of UNT players...He should be given a chance to be HC,,,,he deserves...he has passion...the students and players love this guy....gotta say...I believe he would do a great job all around....I just like the character of this guy...and Mama C.

Coach Chico does deserve a chance. He reversed the turnover ratio and got the team to continue to believe in our program. Let him have at least a year, if not two, to see what he is made of. We just might be giving away a coach that can do a great job for us. I would hate to have another team, a Sun Belt team especially, get him and calling plays against us next year.

The significant change in attitude, effort, and passion is what impressed me. Considering that the while he didn't win every game, they fought from kick to gun each time. That's how you lay a foundation. Give him a shot. I like this guy.

I'm impressed. Canales gets my vote over McCarney. There are still about three guys I'd prefer over Canales, but McCarney isn't one of them.
