You guys are funny! Lol

It's hilarious to watch the meltdown for sure (I've seen several in our short history)... BUT y'all need to calm down and relax.

Utsa is a damn good football team. You did not lose to a crappy team, that's for certain. We have been in the top 3 in CUSA offense all year, and a little more hidden than the numbers show... Pretty dang good on defense over the second half of the season. Utsa is a legit contender in CUSA. Save for a gifted td and another lapse just before half against Rice, we'd be undefeated in the division.

Our loss to Marshall was an anomaly. We had just come off a game we SHOULD have won (and I'm dead serious on that, go back and rewatch it) against Houston... And the team wasn't focused at all traveling to Marshall. Of all our games this season, that's the only one I see where the real Roadrunner team didn't show up. We gave okie light all we could, and Arizona is another legit team that just took Oregon out today.

As good as I think this team is, there is still work to be done. Our sights are dead set on La Tech now. We'll do our part. If Tulane can ride the momentum of a big win today, and do their part against Rice, we will represent our conference at the CUSA Championship game... And make no mistake, we will represent the West well.

We just handed over a division title after 8 losing seasons. There will be no relaxing until Monday. Minimum.

We're not so different it seems:

North Texas is a damn good football team. You did not win to a crappy team, that's for certain. We have been in the top 3 in CUSA defense all year, and a little more hidden than the numbers show... Pretty dang good on offense over the first half of the season. North Texas was a legit contender in CUSA. Save for a gifted td and another lapse just before half against Tulane, we'd be undefeated in the division.

Our loss to UTSA was an anomaly. We had just come off a game we SHOULD have won (and I'm dead serious on that, go back and rewatch it) against Ohio... And the team wasn't focused at all at home with UTSA. Of all our games this season, that's the only one I see where the real Mean Green team didn't show up. We gave Georgia all we could, and Ball State is another legit team that we took out earlier in the year.

With all due respect, and I'm not being an ass (as the cage rattling and instigating is over for me for y'all this season)... You didn't hand over anything. We took it... the old fashioned way, with hard work, effort, and players and coaches that gave everything they had toward their goal.

Because of that, we expect nothing but your best next season, and we look forward to seeing a determined UNT team in SA looking to repay the favor. I'm sure we'll circle that date just the same as you will.

As with just about anything the answer lies somewhere in the middle. UTSA didn't exactly take everything, it was a little give and take. Missed opportunities from both sides.

You guys played good. We walked in as 1st place in the West and played our worst game of the season and beat ourselves half of the game along with you. You can translate that however you want.

Yep. Like I've said that UTSA deserves all the credit in the world. Yes we did look a little out of our game and timid but I'm sure the opposing team had a lot to do with it.

i was at game ---do not believe i saw RV or DMAC play a down----i saw a bunch of players not getting after it like they have for last few weeks--get something else to bitch about

I always think this is a lame comeback. RV and Mac are making a lot of scratch to get these guys motivated and playing for a few hours on 12 Saturdays. If the players were not getting after it, it falls on these 2 rich guys!

      Three really nice touches for Senior Weekend 1) All ten senior players numbers in big white letters on the field. 5 of them in foul territory going from home plate up to 3rd.....the other five going from home plate up to 1st. 2) Having moms and dads of the seniors all throw out "ceremonial" first pitches......to their kiddos. 3) And honoring WSU's 8 or so seniors....by having our players present them all with one white rose and one yellow rose. (their team colors).....very classy.

      Well as a post script to my above… I renewed before Friday ended. My son and I will be chowing down on hot dogs and drinking cold ones once again. We’ll talk about Brelan’s kick off returns, Toby’s guts, winning at Arkansas and how great Mason was. Reckon the P.A. system will work this year ? GMG ! See you at Apo…I mean DATCU.

      Soccer Announces 2024 Schedule

      Oklahoma and Alabama at home to start the season... wow! Good gets! Game at Abilene Christian on Sunday, 9/15 was also scheduled well for folks coming home from the football game in Lubbock who want to support the girls!
