He's actually not playing. Good time to see what UTSA has in store at QB. Colorado transfer Owen McCown, son of former NFL QB Josh McCown is starting.

While I don't think a college player should ever get 7 years of eligibility, he only played 5 years and the first year was only 3 games. That said, eligibility should only be 4 years plus 1 redshirt, IMO, no matter the injuries or anything else. His career should have been done 2 years ago.

That cut the OT of the WKU/ODU bowl game yesterday so they could start the two hours of pregame for Monday Night Football. Total B.S. and so disrespectful to the two teams. Helps me remember why I hate ESPN.

This is on ESPN News currently. Honestly excited to watch. Not every day the sons of 2 former NFL QBs are facing off in a college game. Cole Pennington for Marshall and Owen McCown for UTSA.

I don’t like seeing Harris missing the game due to injury, but I still hope they lose. 😂

Stetson Bennett was in college for the same amount of time and couldn't even finish one degree

He was only one recruiting class behind Mason Fine and was in the same class as Jaelon Darden. Darden has been in the NFL for 3 years.

At UTSA you can get a lot of dual credit hours that can be applied towards a Bachelors at a university, so he has something

Stetson Bennett (and many others) gamed the system by dropping down to FCS then coming back up, neither of which hurt him in terms of eligibility.

I find myself hoping UTSA wins.  I don’t like it, but I can’t root for a team that was left behind to beat a team in our new, supposedly better conference.
