He has the frame to add weight, but you normally want your JUCOS ht and wt ready upon arrival.

Center could make sense.

I'd say by fixing our consistent low snap issue we'd buy our QB another second of decision/throw making time. Also our model lineman will probably change to fit this offense, someone else is more qualified to tell you what that ideal lineman would look like lol.

What this is telling me is that this coaching staff is leaving no stone unturned in scouting for talent.  I mean, how may of us even know where the Siskiyous are (hint, Oregon mountains, not the Cascades, not the Coast Ranges), much less that there's a jc there.

Exactly. This kid is a good pickup. Tough, smart, athletic.

For a pounding rush offense. Not for the type of offense SL wants to run.

Agreed. SL wants to pass more and go fast, going to be hard to find Jordan Murrays that can play in a high tempo pass-pro heavy offense.. Also, I'm assuming this kid is a Dec grad. meaning he will have the entire spring/summer to lift and gain weight. But kid has good feet it looked like, I'd say G maybe T.. now we just need that WR we were hoping

Outstanding initial punch.

Seems to lose his punch a little when he pulls, but that may have to do with the footwork being taught at his JUCO.

Didn't see many highlights of him working 2nd level.  Again, that may have more to do with his offensive scheme.

Still, if he can snap, he looks like a center.

And, if he is here for the Spring, all the better.

If we are truly running an offense similar to Texas Tech's air raid, they have always recruited big, tall, rangy linemen.  Not sure he qualifies, but I am also not sure how closely we are aiming to copy Tech.
