Coach Morris played at Tech and he also worked for Coach Leach. I believe this is something that Leach did (he called it "Midnight Maneuvers") and Coach Morris wanted to honor him.

I remember doing midnight maneuvers when I was at UNT but it more involved walking from Lucky Lou's, to Fry Street Tavern and finishing up at R Bar for a Friday night
