North Texas vs. Oregon Helmets

Does anyone ever look at the helmets that Oregon is wearing today and think that's what ours should look like? Because I do.

They've actually rolled this one out several times, and every time I think "damn that would be a great UNT helmet"

I'm all for fun uniforms.... but Oregon hasn't looked good since they first introduced diamond plate.

We'll probably never have uniforms like Oregon. Not because we aren't top 5 school, but because Phil Knight is not a UNT alum.

Yes, the look great. I have heard several times just how bad our uni's look. I have to agree - they might be the worst in all of FBS football. Direct message to Mac - I hear you on the tradition thing and all but good god our helmets are bad. They are soooooooooooo baaaaaaaaaad.

Meh, win and you get attention.  Maybe then more than just devout Mean Green fans would recognize where the the design came from.  🤷🏽‍♂️

A TV package help you win?  That is a new one on me.  Vanderbilt, Oregon State, Indiana  or (plug in whatever P5 bottom feeder you want) have great TV packages.  No one but alumni and other people with connections to a school  wants to see an uncompetitive losing program that hasn’t won a conference title in 15 years. 🤷🏽‍♂️ A better TV package is just more “Potential” that leadership would have to waste.

I was referring to helmet/uniform recognition.
