from Carthage DE Jarrod McLin. Man if only we had some people in his ear to tell him about UNT. I'm sure Mac wanted to hold off till after the season though. Who wants to handle to hassle of having early commits!

Commit but not a signing. Perhaps one of our best dlinemen committed early to Texas State and changed his mind. Just saying.

We have two RS wide receivers from Carthage, so maybe that will help us. utsa has a pretty good QB from that same class.

Sorry, I thought this was the UNT Recruiting Forum. Besides, his only other offer, per Rivals, was, from ULaLa and he is a 2 star, so everyone would complain if he committed here.

But if he committed here he would have an offer from us, giving him 3 total which isn't bad. Especially from a lower-exposure high school program (compared to the metroplex).

Even though I've hoped we would recruit this kid for a while, I will say that I'm not going to pull a double standard and bash the staff for not offering this kid. But I will say that if we would've gotten him, or maybe do end up getting him, I would've been happy with the pickup.

Honestly, for Bogenshutz, it was probably better for his skill set. He's a promising throwing QB. I would imagine that Coker's offense looks like a fast break compared to what we run.

Bogenshutz is the starter here at UTSA and all the fans here are saying he is the real deal. He is way ahead of any of the QBs here and they even made one of there QBs Austin Robinson change positions to LB or safety not sure on what position exactly.
