RV does not owe any of us an explanation or any insight into the search and how it is coming along so far. Sure we would all like to be privy to the inner workings of the search but if we don't get that information then it is just too bad. We need to get over it. Nobody but RV and Dr. Bataille really know how this whole process is coming along. So let's just all let them do the job they are paid to do. People are throwing out names in newspapers and on message boards and then others take that to be the Gospel. And then when RV comes on to dispell a rumor, people call him a liar. We keep hearing that RV is going to hire a buddy. Why would RV hire someone as a favor to a friend when he knows that THIS hiring has his job riding on it. I think that more than a few posters are tired of hearing that "I have a very good source that says________" or " A friend of a buddy of mine knows for sure that _______will be the new coach". Nobody knows more than anyone else does so quit pretending that you do(unless of course it is MootPoint).

I’m curious why anyone Rick personally knows would be a bad hire? They guy has worked in college athletics quite a while. He has met and worked with quite a few football coaches. I’m sure some of the people Rick has met through the years are quite qualified to be head coaches.

Why is there this blind paranoia that Rick is going to “hire a buddy” who by definition would be a “terrible hire?”

I’m curious why anyone Rick personally knows would be a bad hire? They guy has worked in college athletics quite a while. He has met and worked with quite a few football coaches. I’m sure some of the people Rick has met through the years are quite qualified to be head coaches.

Rick my wife is a teacher and says this year they were told to teach the kids to add cover. Different school districts / fire departments teach different methods ?
