That is a big good looking kid.  I really hope we can use him at LB and not move him to DE.  We need size and speed at the LB position to stop letting teams run all over us.

Generally speaking, small schools don't have much of an "offseason" program for their football players, as the coaches and players generally have to do the other sports year round. Unlike 5A/6A kids who work out twice a day in the offseason and are training for football year-round.

All that to say, his size is likely very natural, and there's a very good chance he naturally outgrows LB once he gets in a college weight program.

We are now 11th out of 14 in CUSA overall on 24/7   But, our average player strength in the conference is now 8th !

Getting very close to mid-pack.

^ I see this and it's a common theme. I don't understand how a recruiting class can have a higher average and be ranked lower than teams that have lower averages. Doesn't make much sense. GMG

Basic math?

You get 4 recruits, all ranked 4.0.

I get 12 recruits, all ranked  3.0.

Your average is higher, but you have 16 total points and I have 36.  Therefore my overall rank is better and your average is higher.

I mean sure, I get that. But it's honoring quantity over quality to an extent.

I don't know guys, this kid may be a darkhorse pickup we look back and feel really good about landing.  I think he has defensive end written all over him.  He could really blow up in a year or two and he is already very solid.  Nice, nice pickup!!

He is a good get, for sure. We need to lock up Williams and Bain.
