Most promising game of Benford's career. Erasing some of the stink from the Northwood debacle.

I thought this team could be a middle of pack CUSA team, this game gives me hope. I was afraid that Alzee would be shunned this year, but he looks posed to have a big year. If Taylor heals and is as good as heralded and Grant can play at all, this team may surprise.

As far as moral victories go, last year against St. Louis was a pretty strong one as well. Another example of why moral victories are pointless if you don't get the results

OU will be a bottom big 12 team and we will be a middle c-usa team

Pipe dream. We win 3 or 4 conference games. Tops.

We just gave up 91 points to a very young OU team. We still don't play defense.

Neither does OU, thankfully.

Congrats to the guys for keeping it close. Hope they prove me wrong this year and I have to she'll out $50.

Well, they are not exactly dogs. Sporting News places them ahead of UT, West Virginia, TCU and Texas Tech and virtually tied with Kansas State in the Big 12. In addition, you need to remember that we are currently without the services of two players who will make major contributions later in the season (T.J.Taylor and Kevin Gaines).

OU will finish in the top 6 of the BigXII. They just beat a team that is picked to make the NCAA tourney.

Also we didn't just give them 95 points. You make it sound like we played no defense and every shot was wide open. Not the case. The refs had something to do with that 95 too.

Giving up 80+ points is going to happen more this year than last year. It's just a given with the rule changes
