It’s official — All of UNT’s freshmen made it!

UNT’s freshmen and JUCO transfers reported for off-season conditioning over the weekend.

A UNT spokesman confirmed that everyone who was supposed to report did just that.

That had been the word the last day or so. Once players arrive on campus and start moving into the dorms and hanging around with returning players, the word gets out pretty quickly.

Just to clarify--we've been allowed our full allotment for several years now. We just haven't had enough scholarship-caliber players on our roster to give 85 scholarships to.

Yes, been allowed, but after Dodge loaded up on JUCO's Mac has been trying to get us back to a full load.

Does anyone have an idea or update to the end-all for that Oregon transfer?? The beast of a LB guy??

We should have dressed that 'beast of a LB guy" up in full UT or TAMU gear, then he go (in person) before the NCAA panel that makes decisions on these matters and then just see how long it would take him to get ready for 2-a-days....this August!

The politics in this country at all levels continues to baffle the minds of many of us us.

GMG!
