Three reasons:

1.  Excitement over the OT win at Rice for our first road win since 1952.

2.  Family weekend.  I would have said 22,372 but my wife and kids won't come with me.

3.  SPCA Adopt a Pet promotion in honor of the MUTS coming to town.

I hope 3 is a joke, I've been trying to put off adding another dog and AoM is coming to this game...

23,456 - just because...  I do think the turnout will be good, with the big win over Rice, Family Weekend, good weather, etc.  Students should turn out well.  But next week, I don't think hosting Marshall will be enough to overcome TX-OU (never mind the difference in game times).  Hotels get filled up with Sooners, and there are probably plenty of casual fans who won't come two weeks in a row anyway.  So I'll guess around 15,000 for Marshall.

Maybe it's actually a good idea to have Homecoming when it's TX-OU - never mind the debacle last year turned out to be, the initial attendance was good.

KNTU: Adopt a dog, adopt a big dog, unless you live, in an apartment...
