Glad we were able to close this one out. Made it tough on ourselves down the stretch but it’s a great road win to start the NIT push.

They said on the pre-game if we win we’re away in either scenario because of a conflict at the Super Pit this weekend 🙄.

Let build 3 more, one for mbb, one for wbb and a spare for random events

I still marvel that so many think that the legal ownership of the Spit is a significant factor in scheduling it's use.

The vast majority of all D1 basketball programs have a multi-use main basketball facility.  I know this particular discussion is due to the scheduling conflict mentioned in the NIT broadcast.   However, there is no guarantee and it is in fact likely that the same problem would exist if the Spit was an asset of the athletic department.

It'd be nice to have some more basketball at The Pit, but I was thinking before the game what if we pulled off a Texas Rangers road warriors type of run en route to a second consecutive NIT 'ship?

Now that we knocked off the Southland Conference level team as is custom in our NIT opening round… now on to a really big challenge.
