Interesting that Kai Horton, Tulane QB from Carthage, TX, is playing but is also in the transfer portal.  He was an excellent HS QB.

I have to agree with one of our frequent posters.  Why do we even bother having school colors?

Tulane’s primary colors are green and white.  Today, they are wearing black uniforms, olive drab numbers(Military Bowl)with white outline.  They are losing to Virginia Tech 41-20 in the 4th qrtr.  Departing from your core school colors = bad mojo and guaranteed losses.

I feel bad for him.  I heard he planned on attending the game and supporting the AAC participant, but upon arrival decided he was at the wrong game and left.

I’m not against black jerseys, but I like seeing the classic school colors…especially during the bowl games.

I’m not a fan of the black unis, but I came to the realization watching Marshall and then Tulane, that if the helmet is green, the black jersey isn’t nearly as bad.  As a matter of fact, Marshall, with the green helmet, black jersey, and green pants looked….kinda ok.

I’ll stand by my comment that these look “ok”, but my reasoning is obviously wrong.  I guess the green jersey and the big green “M” provides enough green that I don’t hate it.

I wasn't questioning your memory.  I think it was a good look too.  Just wanted to show what their combo looked like.

No one complained about the black uniforms in the HoD bowl in 2014 because we won. Or the Stand game.

UNLV was wearing light color uniforms so it was a dark/light uniform-game contrast.  My only issue with our look overall was the green in the helmet logo was a different shade (almost teal) from the green in the uniform...

I stand corrected.  They should rename the team the “Olive Wave”.  
BTW, my older brother graduated from Tulane.  I even attended  Tulane -Georgia Tech game back in the Green Wave’s SEC days at the old Tulane Stadium, home of the Sugar Bowl.  Yes, that makes me old.
