Yeah guys so remember saying Hodge was a defensive coach? Well last year UNT really was carried by only 2 or 3 key pieces, everyone else contributed to the defensive side of the ball, but not the offensive.

Hodge knows nothing of offense

We are still in the infant stage of the Hodge era.

  • What have we done thus far that you are really liking?
  • Do you have a new favorite player?
  • What is something that you would like to see improve?
  • Is there a possibility that excites you?
  • Is there something that has you worried?

1.  Hired Hodge and held on to our core players.  I like the quicker tempo on the offensive end, and Aaron's development on the offensive end.

2.  Scott.  Well, he's always been a favorite.

3.  Rubin being a little more in control on the dribble.  The development of some of our bench players, Stone's shot, Moore earning some playing time, Morgan to develop into a D1 player and Sissoko to continue his rise.

4. This team excites me and has the potential to be better than last year's squad.

5.  Dixon not filling Perry's spot.  Also, who do we go to and the end of tight games since Perry left?  Someone needs to step up.

Halftime

I like the way our defense played overall, but we are really struggling to put the ball in the basket ourselves.  Going to have to figure out how to get some open looks.

also feel (not looking at a stat sheet here), that they are killing us for boards.
