****OFFICIAL CAL va. UNT IN-GAME DISCUSSION***

Coach Andy Mac

Recommended Posts

1. MB knew how to attack our defensive personnel with the run game and he exposed us.
2. our offensive  geniuses don’t know how to adapt their scheme to the personnel on offense. Most players on the line and our running backs were here last year and were good.
3. lots of energy and confidence lost 😞

4. Our best teams have focused on the run with a down field passing game. And our best defenses have been run by older coordinators that ran 4-3 defenses.

That's just it. No one is. That's the UNT way. Happy to be here. Double happy to collect the check. Fire people of their check is at risk. Never amount to any form of expectation. Fired. Hired. Repeat.

Am I wrong?

Morris's first loss in Denton.  We're going to find out if his way is the UNT way.

Genuine question though... How the Hell do we still even have a football team? I mean we've had virtually no success whatsoever, haven't appeared in the top 25 since the 50's, we got so bad that we were demoted in the 90's. What makes us different from UTA? How do we still exist??

He is not greater than the UNT way. Until we get a coach here that s vocal, accountable, and actionary it's always going to be the same. Quit dumping so much wasted money into this cesspool of a football program and invest deeply in basketball.

Time to drop football. No more embarrassment.

We will play 3-6 bad teams, and that will allow us to feel like we are a solid team.  We aren't.  Cal is a below average team that looked like a top-10 team.  They will finish in the bottom half of their conference, and if we finish near the top of our conference, then that will just show the P5-G5 disparity.  We might improve throughout the year, but regardless, the season story has been written: we are a bad team that will only beat really bad teams.

SMU is breathing a sigh of relief they got out in time. NT just brings down conference prestige. We’re the unattractive friend that unexpectedly showed up to a dinner party. You’re hoping to pick up a lady quick and get the hell out of there.
