I hope everyone stops by and partakes. 

This Saturday, we start the Season Hot and Early!

Our Tailgate begins at 10:00 a.m.

 

Exact location, as always.

 

We will be wrapping up Tailgate by 3:00 p.m.

Bring your favorite Drink; bring plenty. I think we may have to wash down some dust.

Victor, Amanda, and Lauren are rumored to have both Amanda’s Famous Mean Green Jell-O Shots and  Coach Morris Italian Sub Sandwiches.

John will have some frozen treats, and I will have balls.

I always like to hear what others are cooking or preparing for tailgate!

Victor, Amanda, and Lauren will have three misting fans and three evaporating coolers on hand to help make sure all the tailgaters and visitors survive the Texas Heat.

better be grilled paninnis....if not, the cook is getting shifted (or whatever the prison word is for a made up knife thingy)...yes, violence....grilled paninnis are the best...can save themselves if itś grilled uncrustables (so damn good grilled)

I have my yearly in-person fantasy draft at 5 pm this Saturday (awful scheduling on the commissioners part) but this thread makes me want to call in sick

I think it's shiv (both a noun and a verb)....a shank is something done on the golf course (unfortunately).

So bottom line is that they are both types of homemade knives. A shiv, though, is usually made from something already sharp, like it can be a razor blade attached to the handle of a toothbrush. A shank, however, would be the end of a toothbrush handle meticulously filed down to a sharp point. Make sense?

Assuming my girlfriend lets us go, we are doing Nathan's hotdogs with sauteed onions and spicy mustard and crock-pot steamed soft buns.  Also chili and shallot onions.

Thank you to all who stopped by and/or attended our tailgate. 

The weather was not bad for the beginning of September. We had a great crowd and some interesting conversations.

not that yaĺl care, but i did not get paninis or grilled uncrustables....douchebaging salmon hot dogs with chili!  these pretentious people i tailgate with....damn....no, no one got shived....i cant survive in prison....oddly....salmon with chili isnt terrible
