It's limited to 4.  However they don't actually have to share any of the new money with the new school for the first few years.

For a program like Houston, I doubt they would care if the other schools took most of that $20mil.   They want in the P5, and have Fertitta.  Louisville (w/Papa John) would be in the same boat.

I wonder how much BYU is interested though if they are not going to get what they should.   They don't really need the exposure or the money.  They have a network of their own.

This is about acceptance for BYU.  That they are considered part of the main stream.  It's the same reason Liberty wants to get to FBS.

That's about right. At this point, the AD is in no position to consider a better conference. UNT needs to concentrate on 2016 athletics and start winning. Fix our athletic department and worry about outside improvement once the inside athletic issues are fixed.

And we're the best geographical fit of them all. At least with the current configuration. Apogee expansion, indoor facility, and baseball would all likely be solved in short order with admittance. It certainly wouldn't hurt to put a proposal out there.
