Rutgers has been in the B10 for 10 years and they have a grand total of 16 conference wins. No thanks.

It seems like smu is paying people to write some of the drivel I see like this and stuff about ACC. This concept won't happen. The new league will have maybe half as many programs. You don't see 80 teams in the NFL. Maybe in 200 years.

That is one of the great wins in NT basketball history, over an SEC team on the road in the postseason. I hope it is a sign of things to come.

It was on the edge, but a win in the conference tourney put it over, barely.

You might have encountered the infamous ‘Florida Woman…’ who’s always in the news doing crazy stuff. Lucky she didn’t hit you with a bag of alligator teeth or something.

Atlantic actually left a margin for error but we had a couple too many bad shot choices and a couple too many missed what should have been easy baskets. Still that is a very challenging opponent and I was proud of the effort. I will be glad when coach May moves on.

As also a Virginia graduate in addition to the mighty North Texas, I can say you should not be using the word Hoos in relation to any of these posts. It’s embarrassing. In the one postseason matchup, Virginia won by like a point in overtime, having to play in Denton. I can’t remember much after that, other than Virginia was so worn out from the accomplishment that we got beat by either Providence or maybe the Bonnies the next game.

This league is tough but I am proud of how the Mean Green are holding up. That was a very tall task on the road today and now here comes our ‘dear friends’ Birmingham who beat Memphis. This is a huge game Wednesday night.

One of my favorite NT basketball wins of all time! And the numbers of those are growing. Winning a tough game like this against an unfortunately difficult opponent will help win other important games too. Outstanding!!!

I’m thinking they got some of the ‘eastern’ Carolina bbq while in Greenville and, besides being a long way from home the better part of the week for 2 straight road games, that junk will make anyone feel bad. Supposedly the ‘western’ Carolina bbq is better but I’m here to tell you it’s ALL junk. If you want pork bbq, don’t go past Memphis.

I was at that dud in CLT last year and another one there before that. Good news: I won’t be there this year.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautiful moment in any basketball game.

Put it on the existing site. Play in Dickies or something for a year. Have some long term vision.

The venue is 50 years old. We’re not going to be Duke. It’s time for a modern venue.

The ears (eyes) are burning in Memphis with that 'Memphis State' reference! They get madder about that than we do about a 'North Texas State' reference, and that's saying something.

I'm sorry but they are to be officially referred to as Salabama.

The ACC had a good thing going. The games and away schools were fun. They were never meant to be big-time football. They should have let Clemson move on and never brought in any of those Big East schools. All this now is from the core of the conference trying to be something they never could be. I guess we should blame Maryland. Florida State is detestable scum. As for poor Syracuse please note they fired their coach recently and were on an interim for the bowl. While that shouldn’t necessarily produce such a result, sometimes it does. Though again, they shouldn’t ever have been in the ACC.

That is a really good one!

Complain all you want but eventually every FCS, DII, DIII and HS game will be viewable live too. There’s a stratification of bowl games. There’s a much more significant reward in some than there are in others. As long as it makes economic sense, bring them on!
