Two wins in a row, both on the road, bringing the women to a 5-5 record.  The cardiac kids had to yet again come out from an 11-point deficit. About a third of the way into the season, this year's squad has already topped last season's number of wins.  So far, things are looking good.  One last out of conference game yet to play.  I'd say there is a fair chance the women could notch a third win in a row, last time that would have happened would be the 2012-2013 season against Troy, ULM, UALR, South Alabama, and FIU (5 wins in a row).

We've really got a love affair with playing Incarnate Word as of late, don't we?

Already matched last year's season win total of five.  This team is fun to watch and worthy of support.  I hope a few more fans will come out to watch these ladies play.  They keep it exciting and play hard.  Congrats to Jalie and company!  

Oh, and just check out the talent sitting at the end of the bench looking forward to playing next year.  Folks, it is time to get behind this team.  Hope to see a few more at the Super Pit soon.

Its really still too early to contemplate her getting hired away, but considering she is an alum, if that scenario did materialize, I would hope we would do everything in our power to keep her here. It's not like it would take $1 million per year.

That's why I thought a win over Indiana was possible.  Of course, a quick look at the women's schedule would have schooled me had I taken the time.  I was looking for the good.  Not to say Incarnate Word isn't good, but....Never mind.
