This is a different SMU team.  More speed, more wide open.   Better athletes.

Morris is positive and encouraging on sidelines as opposed to frowning Lurch Jones.

Coach Mack kinda of come across as a know it all as an announcer.  Course he does have skins so I guess he has the right.

Man it's weird what an undermanned team can do when given an effective gameplay.   Even if they don't score again they'll be coming in next week full of piss and vinegar.

You guys think that if we had an AD capable of bringing Baylor to Apogee.... We'd ever see anything more than 3 downs and a cloud of dust?

I was thinking the same thing. SMU has clearly improved significantly, but can we possibly find solace in the hope that Baylor is also much worse, at least defensively?

I don't know how much (or if) Baylor is worse on D than they were last season, but it is very clear that succesfully defending SMUs improved new offense is almost entierly dependent on succeeding at one on one tackling, and Baylor is failing badly in that department so far.

They look like a different team because they have a coach that cares, but those of you on here already conceding defeat need to go elsewhere.   I think we will also be much improved and I expect our defense to tackle better than Baylor's.  Our win will just look that much better if they keep this close or win.

Mack Brown is a whipping.

Not conceding defeat at all, but I thought next Saturday would be an easy one and it looks like we need to seriously bring it.

Our offense isn't built to put up points. It's slow and time consuming. Even worse, if McNulty can't produce then it's going to be a long long season.

I don't think McNulty was a big issue in some of the games last year. A lot of it was the receivers and other parts of the team. (Look at the Rice game) He is going to need to have a good game next Saturday. Our defense is going to have their hands full and McNulty really needs to show us why he's team captain on the 12th.

On a side note: You see all those preppy Dallas (my daddy buys me a boat and BMW) boys in the crowd! Lol
