OU fans are saying he was either offered or will be in the new few days. I was hoping he would be the second coming of Booger Kennedy.

He wouldn't solve everything, but man he would be a pretty big step in the right direction for recruiting.

He would have been great. I'm sure that a player of his talent won't be convinced that he can't start for OU so the large fish in small pond vs. small fish in large pond won't work. I wish him well.

Sure this stings however, not near as much as losing a player to a school in our stratosphere (La. Tech, Tulsa, Houston etc). Here's the good news, our coaches are identifying and connecting with good talent out there. That's a good sign.

No offense to this kid but I would be weary to let him be a walkon. That might be the worst highlight reel I have seen this year. If he busts his ass and shows some hustle I would let him walk on but that reel shows just another body on the turf.
