Speaking of this exhibition tour, I was looking at their schedule for the remainder of the year and noticed that the team championships will be in September at the Maridoe Golf Club, home course of your Mean Green Eagles.
The big timers in general don't play away oc games, unless there is a big payday coming their way. Occasionally, they will schedule a home and away series with a peer program, but it is very rare for them to play at a lower conference team's arena.
The better the program, the more season tickets, and less need to play quality opponents to gain attendance.
Nothing prevents said players....from going in to coaching and working their way up the coaching ladder. (if they want to make the big coaching bucks).
But even at that....there are some lean times...as you work your way up that ladder.
I remember the story that Grant told....of how they lived off of (wife) Cece's income, as a waitress at Olive Garden....when he was a GA at Northern Colorado.

Although his team is the Torques (along with Munoz) and not The Cleeks.
