Isn’t it also worrisome we’ve had to go for it on a few fourth downs to continue our drives? I’m all for going for it on 4th and short, but 4th and 4+ a few times?

Have you noticed when Evens does "traditional" punts, he is outstanding, but when he tries the Aussie style, he sucks. Too bad our "upgraded" Special Teams coach doesn't seem to notice.

That’s a good question. I have no idea. I know he was a DC at a DIII college before, but who are we kidding? He’s new to this as far as I’m concerned. This is the AAC and we want to win.

My guess is that our defense was so bad, it made earle look much better than he really is, which made it tough to give a fair assessment of the two.

Offense gets a gold star for the night. Not amazing but I think they could win us a game or two. 

Unfortunately our defense is going to hand the game over to any opponent. Caponi needs to walk home. Even if he did drive to the stadium.  Shame.

Chandler has missed more of his deep throws than made. I heard that was the knock on him. I prefer staying to his strengths with the intermediate routes.

I expect to beat teams like Rice or Tulsa by a score of 45-31. Not ACU. No where near good enough tonight.

Navy is 1-3 right now, and licking their chops at the thought of whaling on our defense next Saturday. The Mean Green offense will have to score 70, because the UNT defense is trash. If this is the best our defense can play, then we might not win a conference game this season.

Our offense wasn’t as efficient in the second half. It was as if their defense adjusted better than ours. We struggled to score against an FCS defense in the 2nd half which worries me.
