No he isn’t. Stop with the clickbait titles.

Have you read the letter? This is not some bullshit accusation, this law firm is very well respected and isn’t jumping in this if there is not a very good chance they will win.  Not a good situation for Wren nonetheless.

He’s not going to be the coach for WVU again. I don’t know the details of his contract, but my guess is a resignation forfeits some of his salary. He wants some of that money back AND the opportunity to save face.  Regardless, this isn’t a great situation for anyone involved…except for the Big XII opponents. 😂😂

This is such crap. Law firms, even “respected ones,” take crap cases on behalf of their clients all the time.

This also has nothing to do with our football program or our university. Why is it in this thread.

Exactly, just like bookies to a certain extent they don’t care about the quality of the bet as long as the house wins over time.  They charging retainer fees regardless.  I hate he is struggling with alcoholism but it is time for him to transition to a less stressful role.  He shouldn’t need the money at this point in his career either.

I do think Wren Bakers seat at WVU is getting slightly less well air conditioned. But it has fairly little to do with Huggins. That one really didn't leave him with much choice.

It has more to do with him having retained the football coach and as a result now partially owning Neal Browns results.

Meh, I think he’s only on the hot seat in the minds of fans who think every time there’s an ounce of drama that someone is on the hot seat. There’s no way that all the power players at WVU weren’t involved in every step of this whole thing. This is just a coach trying to get a few more $’s.

“In hot water” and “on the hot seat” are different.  The former means he is in big trouble and the latter means he’s in danger of losing his job…being overly simplistic of course.

Example:  SL was often on the hot seat, but he was never in hot water.
