I'm not Seth's biggest fan, but saying Seth blew it because he left is a crappy comment. If a player moves on and does well at the next school then I guess just about every coaches has blown it many times.

How else do you manage results at your business sir?  Please enlighten us.  If you lose a key employee doesn’t your boss have a right to hold you accountable?

I'm not sure how much blame lies with Seth, but losing a good player is a loss anyway you slice it.

If you are trying to compare today's world of the transfer portal to business not sure what I could say. Again, if this is your model then almost every coach in football is doing a bad job retaining employees

Josh Samuel was a RB for Western Kentucky for 2 seasons and has now converted 2 4th downs against WKU. Their coach blew it.

Yeah but see I really don’t give 2 5hitz about WKU. And their personnel screw ups.  I care about my program UNT.  You continue to come up with excuses for Seth and I just refuse to do that in year 8,

CBS Sports just reported that 67 FBS quarterbacks that had started transfered this year. I guess that's 67 coaches that blew it.

No excuses for SL for where it's warranted. Just don't know what you expect him to do if somebody wants to leave. People transfer out of every program. If you're going to have a grip with SL, at least make it about something he can control and is somewhat unique to him.
