Rosenmueller finishes at E tied for 10th with Snyman and Churchman at +3 tied for 33rd.  Churchman has been all over the place today.  With a little consistency, Churchman could move up the board.  Snyman appeared to start strong, but bogeyed 15 and 18 coming in.

Rosenmueller still tied for 10th at E par through his front nine, the back nine, of the second round.  Kind of an up and down round as he went par, bogey, birdie, bogey, birdie and then parred out.  Maybe he can pick up a few spots on his back nine.

Churchman remains at +3 through 11 holes today.  All pars with one birdie and one bogey.

Snyman also remains at +3 through 11 holes today with one birdie, one bogey and the rest pars.  He and Churchman are tied for 22nd.

The leading individual to advance is at -3, so one of our boys needs to make a move over the next 27 ish holes.

Too bad UNT wasn't invited as a TEAM.  Still, I hope our three "individual" invitees do well.

they aren't doing bad and are representing our university very well at the golf regionals.

right now, the lowest individual by a non top 5 team is at -1....snyman is +3, rosenmueller +4, and churchman +7...someone is gonna have to go low in order to catch the leader right now...they tee off between 931 and 1004 today for the final round

I think our chances are, in this order, Rosenmueller, Snyman and Churchman, just based off of their consistency thus far.  From my limited knowledge of the team, I would guess Churchman has the greatest shot at going low, but he has been wildly inconsistent thus far, and Rosenmueller has been the steadiest.  The exciting thing is that Rosenmueller and Snyman are only in their sophomore season.

Currently, here are where we stand: (The individual, not on a Top 5 team, leader is currently -3 for the tournament)

Snyman: -3 through his front nine, the back nine, today and even par for the tournament.  He is tied for 14th place.  Needs to stay hot and go low.

Rosenmueller: +1 through his front nine, the back nine, today and +5 for the tournament.  He is tied for 27th.

Churchman: +1 through his front nine, the back nine, today and +8 for the tournament.  Up and down round.  Was -2 and went bogey/double bogey on his eighth and ninth holes of the day.  Tied for 41st.

The conditions must be good today as the leader is -13 for the tournament and -9 today.

The medalist out of Iowa State shot a 61 today.  Incredible round.

Snyman got to -4 on the day (-1 overall) but then gave the stroke back on the following hole with a bogey.  Well, he proceeded to birdie the next hole while I was typing this, so back to -4 (-1) Current standings for the individuals is:

Zalatoris (Wake Forest) -3

McBride (NC State) -2

Fisk (GA Southern) -1

Snyman (UNT) -1 through 13

The three in front of Snyman are done for the day, so he needs a couple of birdies coming in.  Let's go Ian!!  You got this.

Note: Rosenmueller +7 and Churchman +9

Snyman had a great day shooting a 67 (-4) ending the tournament at -1 tied for 15th.  He was two strokes out of tying for the top individual spot for a player not on a top five team.  Great job by Ian, and also to Rosenmueller and Churchman.

The exciting news is that Snyman and Rosenmueller both have two years of eligibility remaining and the team only loses Churchman and the little used Andrew Hudson.
