Though some of my posts may appear that way, I don’t blame the players. The rules say they can get paid, so that’s what they’re going to do. The system is what’s messed up. I wish the NBA and NFL would change the rules. At that point, either go pro and get paid or go to college and get a free education and hopefully get paid later. -

Who was playing QB at your first CFB game?
Huge disappointment after following the team from my little Central Texas town my senior year of high school. After years of mediocrity I was getting excited to see each W the Mean Green were taking until they #Hit6. Even though the Bulldogs ran up the score late, I was ecstatic getting to see my future school on linear TV keeping up with Georgia, 21-21. I was for sure they'd surprise an underwhelming Texas program to start off my student life. But hey, at least we got to shalack SMU the next week. I think Nicholls was two weeks later, too. Don't get to see your team put up 77 very often. -

We're being a bit naive now. The better players will continue to seek as much money as they can legally get, just like it has always been for coaches. There seems to be a lot of resentment toward these kids from adults because we weren't good enough and/or was born too soon. We all have been told to go to college to make the most money. These kids would be damn fools for not taking advantage of a system adults helped create. Many only go to college because the NBA & NFL deny them employment until they reach a certain age. The era of loyalty, if it ever existed, to good ole State U is gone. By the way, the Mavs would be better off without a ball hogging stat stuffing guard; while everyone else stands around.- 2
