Hell of an upset if Marshall can keep it up. If they and Rice both win this week, Rice will host them and none of the teams leaving will have a championship shot. Edit: They would both have only 1 loss in conference so not sure where that would fall in tiebreakers but if it's ranking I think that's still right...right?

Marshall up 24-10 beginning the 3rd quarter. Marshall had punt return to make it 31-0 but it was called back on a penalty. ECU looked better right before the half. Could be an exciting second half.

After talking to some people before the UTSA game, there's a good chance Marshall would have passed us in the BCS standings after beating ECU...our pathetic loss to UTSA makes all that irrelevant though

No, it stings because hosting a championship game would have brought people back to a UNT game that hasn't been in years. I had 3 of them committed if it happened.

It also would have helped recruiting.
