Wash D.C. Advice

Im stuck in washington dc today for a conference, does anyone have some advice for what i should do afterwards? Currently at georgetown campus.

Any tips would be much appreciated and i anticipate an Occupy joke series.

Go eat at good stuff eatery up on the hill, right next door to we the pizza. Best burger in DC.

Or if you're into seafood, try The Tackle Box...it's just east of the Georgetown campus. This is the kind of place you'd find in some small Maine fishing town.

Or google the Lobster truck to find out where it is. Its a pretty amazing food trailer. It's depressing I only suggest places to eat, but I'm a fat kid, guess it makes sense.

Everything on the mall is worth seeing, but I was always advised to stay away from that area at night.

Would recommend the Brickseller in Dupont Circle but google says it closed.

Wondering the area at night and see all the different embassies is cool though.

It's been 20 years since I lived in Bethesda. Even if I could remember the places I used to go (other than the Smithsonian), they probably don't exist anymore. Like the Brickskeller.

We are at clydes on M street east of georgetown campus tonight per the concierge recommendation. Amazing cocktails.

Thank you all so much for the tips! Sadly, im allergic to shellfish and have to avoid the seafood joints. Wife is joining me to check out the smithsonian tomorrow.
