Did Anyone Travel To Troy?

Let me say that this is not a flame in any way...

Did anyone on this board make the trip to Troy for the game? I have a question about one of your fans but it needs to be answered by someone who was there.

I was there? I wish our homecoming was as good as your's.

I didn't understand why dad's & mom's escorted your homecoming nominees?

I know our team & coaching staff didn't travel , but I think there were a few fans there

At this rate I won't be going to Troy again for another 10 years and even then we may not be able to be competetive with you all - sorry for such a sorry arse squad. Sorry we continue to bring the Belt down.

Who was the guy that kept running down to the sideline and yelling at the NT players?

Are you sure he was yelling at players and not coaches?

And speaking of Homecomings. I still think it's interesting that a 1-4 North Texas Homecoming outdrew a 4-2 Troy Homecoming, even after the fact that fans at Fouts Field have seen exactly 4 wins the past 24 games over a 4 1/2 year span? Imagine what can happen, attendance wise, when we turn this thing around?

This is the reason I said in another thread that it is an embarassment that Troy has dominated the Belt for the last 4 years. A program with no potential dominates one with all the potential in the world, but can never seem to capitalize on said potential.

Once again we see UNT fans knocking their own. Interesting...and, FFR, I guess this is the post from which I "stole your thunder" according to Quoner, the gatekeeper of all things it so appears. When did you hire him to watch out for you? Would not have started a thread about the attendance difference between UNT and Troy had I read this thread first. Didn't mean to "steal" the topic I had simply not looked at this thread. I hope my post didn't ruin your day or anything...just thought it was worth noting!

GO MEAN GREEN!

It sounds like the same guy I saw at the Alabama game. Looks to be in his mid-upper twenties, fairly skinny, yells a lot throughout the game and is usually dressed from head to toe in Mean Green gear. At Alabama, he pretty much yelled the whole time and would occasionally run down to the sideline with some kind of field pass and get in and start trying to pep talk to the players and some of the coaches. I was confused.

I thought it was funny how he hit on some Southern cuties at the Bama game and was immediately blown off. However, at least he made an effort and I must give credit where credit is due.

This guy wasn't skinny and there was no NT gear to be found. The players just stood in amazement as the guy questioned their manhood.
