Beach Volleyball and Bowling have been the two additions the Athletic Department have investigated for inclusion once Baseball comes online. Wouldn't doubt several other options were looked at but those two seemed to be the focus.

If they've already graduated from High School, going to Prep School does nothing other than delay the start of the eligibility clock. The Prep School doesn't even have to come into play with the NCAA Clearinghouse. If you went to Prep School your entire High School career, then things could get sticky.

Eagle-96 is pretty much correct. They're basically a GA without the ability to act as Coaches and don't get counted as an Assistant Coach.

Definitely a possibility but also has to do with which FOI Request was received first. These don't come from the AD department, they are handled by Legal and I seriously doubt someone in Legal is making a call on which of the two identical requests to fulfill first. It's really not some sort of conspiracy.

Just a clarification, Riley is the Varsity QB Coach at Marcus not the OC.

Some of this is attributable to not having a Coach fighting for players to be included on the lists.

It's awful hard for Chico to tell DS that the only reason he's not starting is because of Mac when Mac is no longer involved in the decision therefore the come to Jesus meeting was much more intense this time around and I would bet real money that it was more truthful this time also.

I'm not writing off anyone, just stating that there is a misconception that 161 or 300 people constitute any kind of majority in the grand scheme of things at North Texas. It's easy and factual for Rick to claim that the calls for his ouster are coming from a minority of supporters. I also don't agree with your assessment that "I won't find a group anywhere who care more about our teams", I know more than 161 folks that support UNT Athletics and aren't part of this board. That said, I'm certain everyone on this board cares and are probably the most vocal or they wouldn't have taken the time to register and post here.

According to the GMG Site statistics, there are 13,687 Members of the GMG Board and the most online at any one time was 1,438. 162 people participated in the poll, in my mind that is a minority any way you slice it! You may not like it, but facts are facts.

If the rest of the team played balls to the wall like Carlos, we'd be celebrating victories right now. Carlos has made some mistakes but he has also been one of the very few solid players this year. The only players that might be drinking at parties, the night before a game, would be those not on the traveling squad. Everyone on the travel squad are locked away, outside Denton, the night/afternoon before the game.

Riley was back at QB the first game Canales was acting HC @Cr1028 and was the QB until he got hurt again in the 4th quarter of the last game.

Mike Yurcich - OkState Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach Guy seems to be able to develop QB's at any level. Maybe JW could come back and be an UNT Assistant when he graduates which might open up Denton for UNT. The guy has been steadily climbing the ladder for the past decade.

The return of Riley Dodge and several other players, during our bye week, had MUCH more to do with the VERY limited success of Mike "What's a F150" Canales. Canales never had an opportunity to go elsewhere, he removed his name from consideration after being told he was not going to be offered the position and ArkSt was never planning on offering him either.
